WC: Equipment Ref

Last reference for Harvey and Trixie. This time it's Harvey's primary equipment, the Re-Combinator Multi-tool Cuff and Spectrode Multi Spectrum Scanning Goggles.

Re-Com Cuff
An all purpose tool created by Harvey capable of reconstructing itself into almost any tool (but you read it in Harvey's journal so you knew that bit already.) Thanks to patented Raw Materials canister technology the cuff is not restricted by its original mass and can even produce projectiles, liquids and gases! Now while that may seem like a lot these elements needs to be programmed, programming takes time and preferably not being shot at (that tends to throw off calculations.) This can make the Re-Com useful but a little unreliable, after all miscalculate the programme the formula for a crystal lens and you could wind up with pencil lead. Should the Re-Com Cuff create a projectile the raw materials canisters will be unable to reclaim the basic elements and may be depleted and need to be replaced. That's why there are two canisters so the cuff can always revert back to it's default setting (however situations have occurred that Harvey created something so complicated it required both canisters to create). The final draw back is the ignition cord...ever tried to start an outboard?

Spectrodes
Other than looking cool the Spectrodes are what Harvey uses to scan, map, overlay displays, it's like a tri-corder for your face. They've even got Wifi! I'm not joking, its got space wifi. They use it to transmit and receive data from the Re-Com Cuff and CPU Hub mounted onto Trixie's saddle to assist with targeting, view previously collected data and assist navigation.  Last but not least is the built in air filter, handy for all those inhospitable environments. Or when Trixie is gasey.
